Danish Handmade Chocolates and Marzipan

In Denmark, we love marzipan confectioneries especially around Christmas.

Marzipan is a soft almond dough or paste used as an ingredient in cakes, you can eat it as it is or create pretty and delicious homemade chocolates. Danes usually make bite size shapes of marzipan,  nougat, dried fruits or liqueur and cover it all in chocolate.

Christmas Eve we play a game while having dessert and the winner gets a marzipan pig.

You will learn to make marzipan yourself and create your own delicate confectioneries.
